  • Having heard some of Elan's concerts and earliest recordings in the 1970's, I must say that while Elan's technical abilities were already developed long ago, he has found other ways of continuing to grow. He notes that Gurdjieff and Hartmann used to collaborate on their composing in front of a group of ATTENTIVE people. Elan as well, in his performances, has often had schooled audiences of unusually attentive people. This subtle advantage makes a real difference and should be better recognized!
