  • Next time you do one of these you need to add some dialog so that those that don't know how to work one of these knows whats going on.

  • @sofiadragon1979 :

Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Basically, my idea was to create a video that could be used by anyone around the world just by watching without the issue of sound quality or language. I'll keep that in mind in the future and see if I can find a creative solution. Have a great day!

  • Mike, my thought is that you might have plugged in or unplugged the attachment with the machine ON?

I would say you should call tech support Monday morning to see what part(s) need to be adjusted or replaced. Oh, one more thing, you might want to try and troubleshoot the problem by unplugging the Ethernet cable that plugs directly into the laser tube. With that unplugged, turn the machine ON and see if it will boot up then. Let me know what you find out.

  • When laser etching glass, the glass tends to heat up and chip away. The wet paper is used to help keep the glass cool and offers a more sandblasted smooth etch. You can also use gift wrap-tissue type paper; then spray Windex on it. The soapy tissue is easier to work out the wrinkles.

  • Why did you put newspaper around the glass?

  • lol, "clunk clunk" with the ring. N00b.

  • Thanks for the input. OK I took the right side cover off and turned the machine on . I located the row of bright red LED's. From what I can see the first 2 LED's are lit up , the 3rd is not and the forth is lit up.

  • @rednova Ouch! :< I'd recommend you turn the machine OFF, and remove the right side panel. Then, turn the system back ON, and see if the system will initialize. On the main control board, there should be a row of 4 bright red LED's lit up. If not, it sounds like it may have "shorted out" the main board or a wiring harness. Most likely, the control board needs to be replaced. OR possibly, a breaker was thrown by the power supply. Check to make sure those are pushed in.callEP-TS 303-215-9171

  • I did the same thing today.... I forgot to turn the power of to the laser engraver then unplugged my rotary attachment now all I get is 8 squares on the LCD display and the machine wont respond. the only thing that turns on is the fans. Now I am panicking. Since your post was 7 months ago did you resolve your problem and if so what did you need to do?

  • Awsome! Also gives a new use of our old yellow pages!

  • @EngraverWhisperer Honestly I never thought about that thanks for the response.
