More specifically the Copernicus crater, which is around 90km wide & 4km deep.

In the bottom Left of the picture you can see the the Apennine Mountain range (Montes Apenninus)The highest peaks reach 5km and the range is around 600km long.

I have some high res stills. If anyone wants to see them feel free to pm me and i will send them to you.

The shaky/wobbly view is due to the air in the atmosphere. The best way to describe it is to think about looking up from the bottom of a pool.

  • I have no idea what magnification it was, i think it was a 15mm EP so im guessing around x120 with a slight bit of optical zoom from the camera. Hope that helps

  • Thanks for filming. The Moon is actually more than a fourth of the Earth's diameter. God bless you.
