With a beautifully-executed Olympic freeskate program, World Champion Evan Lysacek of the United States took home the first American gold medal in over 20 years! Here is his amazing freeskate from the 2009 World Championship set to Adam Lambert's "Time for Miracles." Congratulations, Evan!

AMAZING :O I could concentrate on skating and music together both were amazing ; I just love the way you put adam's song on it ; it fits so well and we don't ear those stupid commentators that are always commenting ! How can I say 100000times thanks ; you're amazing and evan is too :)

What can I say? I can't believe that so many people disliked this. More than 300 people have no taste for beauty and skill. Evan is adorable. He started me watching Dancing With the Stars and I'm so glad he got second place. He's so expressive, hard working and I never get tired of watching him.

This was a beautiful program. There really is no question that Evan deserved the gold medal. Anyone who argues otherwise is either blind or kidding themselves. So Evan didn't do a quad... but his program OVERALL was MUCH cleaner, more beautifully executed, and balanced than Plushenko's. Great job, Evan. You've earned the right to every bit of success coming your way.
