I spoke for about seven minutes at the Kill the Bill Rally in St. Paul, MN on 3/13/10 at the state capital. Rep. John Kline and Rep. Michele Bachmann opened and closed the rally, and I was asked by Minnesota Majority to talk about the politics of ObamaCare. I take the "rally" part of the event rather seriously -- and had an absolute blast. Video taken on my Flip camera by my great friend David Strom.

  • In auto insurance, if it's not your fault, you can get full coverage after the wreck. It's called UMPD. Just like health insurance, I'm sure they'll exclude smokers from certain coverages.

  • this should be titled " when people vote against their interests"..... so many ignorant people in one place.... sad, very sad..

  • i think we should live in a communist government that way we can wipe out all these annoying tea party gruops! YEY!

  • What are you talking about?

  • Insurance companies are unnecessary though.

I don't know any conservatives who have anything good to say about insurance companies, and I say this as a Zionist Israeli...

  • Insurance should have no part in healthcare.

Healthcare should be subsidized by the government, just like the military and roads in USA are.

  • Okay, I was under the impression that you were saying that countries that have universal health care are communist.

Because here in Israel we use universal health care which is very popular among many Jews here.

  • In some ways you are correct; Jesus Christ is the main leader in the social justice movement.

  • Note I did not say in all ways. :)

But on matters of looking out for our country, we in Israel actually care about the people who live here. In USA it seems Americans care about the country but not about providing all the Americans with the healthcare.

Like I said in SOME ways we are better. I think it is because we are all in the same boat. :)

  • If I wreck my car with no collision insurance, should I be able to upgrade to full coverage and get my car fixed under the upgraded coverage? We'd shoot ourselves in the foot if we had to pay what rates would be if we forced insurance companies to cover insurance after the fact like, flood insurance, homeowner fire and theft insurance. Just wait till you have a claim, then get insurance... Thats not how insurance works. At least in the USA
