Looks like we'll get the beta for Chrome on the Mac by December. If you're using Chrome on a PC, 4.0 was released today. Project Natal from Microsoft looks to be launching late 2010 with a sale price of between $50 and $84, with 14 Natal-ready games. Blue Microphones announced a USB mic that's also the world's first THX Certified Mic called the Yeti USB Microphone. Microsoft has an 802.11n adapter for the Xbox 360. Parking your car in your garage may turn out to be much like docking your iPod one day if car and consumer electronics makers use a new technology called the Rovi Automotive Solution. Details on the New York Meetup is on my blog at www.calilewis.me. It'll be on November 20th. Hope to see you there! Just my .02. I can't see how a USB microphone can claim THX. It seems like nothing more than a gimmick to get more money. The logitech Z-5500 speakers are THX and they are terrible. THX is a whore in my opinion who will sell their certification to anyone.

It's probably obvious that using THX devices full circle, beginning to end, will ensure the most accurate sound possible. But, not everyone plays things on THX equip, I don't have any.. But using a THX certified recording device results in a more accurate recording and therefore sound on ANY device, So I think its still a great feature/certification to have. I plan on getting a USB mic, and so far, I am waiting for the Yeti.

Chrome is awesome on windows, but no spyware protection. staying with safari 4 = no spyware.

the best thing you could do is to play the audio recorded with microphone THX with a system that is also THX certified but if you don't, the difference will not be much although it will be noticeable.

I'm starting to like you a LOT Cali. We seem to think alike when it comes to tech. I too ALSO WANT the Microsoft Natal to control my PC. I don't care about natal for game consoles.
Why isn't Natal for PCs a top priority for Microsoft? They should have made sure Windows 7 was Natal compatible at the Win 7 launch.
Bah, oh well.

So, are you guys selling the Snowball? Might be interested in it. (Of course, you could probably make a fortune on it with eBay.)
