Annoying Sims 3 Glitch

My wife started doing this. While she's walking sometimes she just stops, and resumes whatever she was doing about 5 seconds later. It's not a real big deal, I mean, I can live with it. But if anyone knows how to fix it, that would be good too.
P.S. I've tried the resetSim cheat and it hasn't worked...
It's gotten to the point of annoyance where I avoid using her as much as possible. Oh God I hope they fix this soon ;_;
