  • Cork! Too many forget how awesome cork is.

Bonus use: Burn it slightly, makes great night face camo.

  • @wolfbushcraft Im near the Royal landscapes , Saville gardens area and that way .. To be fair though im not exactly sure where the South Downs start from this end hehe :) Guilford is not too far from me ..

  • Belt,leuku knife,tinder pouch,deer skin bag,soup can,plastic bottle,duct tape,cotton wool,tampons(3),cork,fish line,small hook,small lead weight,sea hook,red matches,small extra hooks,ferro sparker,pre-made snares(2),torch,nato matches,plasters,coffee pack,soup pack,extra fishline,salt + pepper,water tablets,suture.Nice kit.What do you think of KMnO4,razor blade,dental floss,sewing needle,P-38,Vic Classic,hacksaw blade,wet/dry sandpaper,candle stub,honey,glue stick,button compass,&wire saw?

  • Just another thought, in my kit I add a prank birthday candle. they are small, lightweight and when lit they won't blow out unless you dip them in water. they can be lit with a firesteel or a magnifying lens and on a windy day can really help you light a fire.

    Cheers.

  • Brilliant kit, just a thought, If you drilled a hole in center of your cork float you could install a small container to house additional small hooks, weights, swivels or anything else you might need. the size of the hold should not comprimise the flotation or intigrety of the cork. I use the disposable foam ear plugs for my floats. they can be compressed, small, cheap, brightly colored and I can store three or four in a very small volume. keep up the good work.

    many thanks

  • Hi mate nice small kit. not to heavy aswel, well done, If you get a chance have a look at my M4 possibles pouch,a bit bigger but works well up here in Scotland.

  • @wolfbushcraft ah cool

  • @sealofwisdom when i was a kid we used a coke bottle with line attached quite hard to cast it but it works fine in a canal, caught loads of perch etc. hooked a jack pike once lol, didn't work so well, the line slipped off the bottle or something, if it was attached better it would have been fine.
