I travel the eastern shore all the time and have probably taken video of everything so many times, that there isn't much new. During this trip I slid the selector on my SD900 over to still frames. I took pictures of everything interesting I saw along the way and had time to grab the camera. Having seen many of the same commercial trucks on the route, I know those of you who travel the "Ocean Highway" frequently, you will probably recognize many landmarks. There probably won't be many more presentations from me uing stills since I found out it is very dangerous taking stills. With a video you can just hold the camera and still concentrate on driving but with stills you are trying to time when you snap the picture. I cut over 2/3 of the pictures I took on this. Last still feature I hope you enjoy and please NEVER take stills while you are driving.

  • Want a preview of Hell......visit the shore.High crime, high unemployment, lack of things to do,horrible climate the list goes on and on.This is Virginia'a armpit.

  • @fortking I won't disagree with you on this. It is pretty much the same as the 1970's excpet for the red lights at every little crossing. Fockers in Delaware cost me $112.50 due to their photo thing and 2 second yellows.

  • Living on the shore I travel that corridor all the time, thanks for the great vid.

What is the music if I may ask?

  • @joedevens sorry I don't know the music. I picked it from an accoustical selection on Youtube's audio swap.

  • Looks like most of the pictures are from US 13, but I didn't seen any Maryland action. Or at least I didn't recognize it.... Except that very last picture, which looks like the Princess Anne bypass.

  • @onorebakasama after watching it again, I think you are right. I know the weigh station after T's Corner was MD and maybe a few after that. Not much Maryland, I think 43 miles so maybe I was sleeping through the trees. I do have several videos with Maryland's beautiful eastern shore. I tagged them Maryland or MD

  • @fortking Wow, hell of a blanket statement. So because I enjoyed someone elses veiw of the place, I suddenly have never been anywhere else.Sure thing pal, how insightful and all knowing of the Shore, and everything about it's economy....you are....maybe in all things in general.

  • @deweydudu09 Sorry to hear that.Obviously you have never been anywhere else.

  • @joedevens hey, I appreciate the vote of confidence from a true ES'er. I travel the Ocean Highway (as they called it in the past) all the time and have for over 30 years. Since I live in VB, I probably own about 1% of the CBBT. The $12 toll is very fair considering I paid $6 back in 1977 and since then they have added the new span. Anyway, the eastern shore is truly beautiful.

  • I'll be on the shore tomorrow, probably taking new video. Yup, a beautiful and luckily still rural place.
