  • Why does the title say "My Pisgah"?

  • I got engaged on top of this mt. in my home town!!! I'm feeling home sick so I googled JT and your video made me feel much much better!! thanks :) We're so blessed to have such a beautiful town!!!

  • Haha, love the warning how its dangerous, im with the Jim Thorpe Fire Dept. and we average around 40-50 calls to respond to the Trail for a rope rescue for people who insist to not wear the appropriate clothing or shoes for the hike. Haha, Glad to not have to do the same for you guys. Hope you enjoyed the hike!

  • @JimThorpePa Stop encouraging city assholes to come to JT and exploit it more than they already did.I'm fourth generation and you're a pain in the ass and an embarresment.Move to NYC if you love them so much.

  • I went straight up the old steam incline trail today. Brutal climb! The view was worth it though.

  • If you were born here, you forgot to mention the copperheads and rattlesnakes that great you certain times of the year. If you hike our mountains, you better be careful and not get hurt.

  • What is your Pisgah?

  • My favorite place to hike! The best thing for bikers: Starting behind the school, Hike up the boulder trail to the top of Mt. Pisgah. Follow the Switchback to Mauch Chunk Lake, continue on the Switchback, you'll wind up where you started. The ride is great 98% all down hill, beautifull views, very quiet and an awsome way to bike and be in nature. I was born and raised in Jim Thorpe, any Hiker, Biker, Walker I recommend Jim Thorpe, surrounded by mountains it is beautifull all year round.
