  • Vicki Fabry says: Ocean acidification is different from climate change in that it's not controversial. Everyone agrees that when you dissolve carbon dioxide in seawater you get carbonic acid.

    Nearly all studies show detrimental effects on shellfish.

    Sea grasses tend to thrive in high CO2 concentrations.

    I think we have enough evidence to include ocean acidification in COP-15.
