  • The treatment is the same... Both rhythms are in the same ACLS algorithm (Pulseless Arrest).

  • cardioversion (DC SHOCK)

  • @khayez14 They use vasopressin in place of epinephrine sometimes, but it doesn't really make any sense to me, because you can only give vasopressin once but there's no limit to the amount of epi you can give. At our school they use the anagram "EVery Little Angel Must" with epinephrine/vasopressin, lidocaine, amiodarone, and magnesium sulfate. They used to have "Pray" for procainamide, but they took that down. In torsades de pointes, magnesium is given right after the epi.

  • 360J async and 300mg cordarone i.v. push plus 300mg in a bag, fast drip

  • PVT treatment would be EVAL which stands for epinephrine, vasopressin, amniodarone and lidocane. epi is the first drug of choice but all medications are given in intervals. it is not needed to administer all of these especially if another form of problems exists.

PEA, may use epinephrine and atropine.

  • Except svt gets adenosine first

  • compare with ventricular fibrilation
