I made this video in hopes that people will better understand their phone and have full control of some of the basics that involve flashing a custom ROM. I know, it can seem a little intimidating at first but there's really nothing to be afraid of especially when you fully grasp backing up and restoring ROMs.

With that, I hope to empower everyone and give them even more control of their phone and know that the Android modding life can be a happy safe one ;)

@Jon33T Backing up won't cause you to lose data, but restoring will,as you're installing the rom again.

so first you said how to backup / install from the bootmenu and you told it will work if the phone was damaged but then you said if you do it from the app you would have to had the app installed to work so i just a waste of time cause you backup in case something goes wrong and it wont work?
