1000 jobs in PA? Try 1500 jobs at the West Hershey, PA plant alone. Reading, PA lost 250 jobs. Hershey also closed the plant in Smith Falls, Ontario as well, costing another 1500 Canadian jobs. I live 9 miles east of the original Hershey chocolate plant, which is now slated for closure and conversion into Hershey Trust offices.
I so agree that Milton S. Hershey is spinning in his grave. He looked out for his employees.
