Soshowcanihelp....well firstly you can help by stop talking pure pish.....secondly,don't comment unless you were there.... I was....and thirdly,if the airbridge had been put on straight away and a pax fell while disembarking or the a/c was damaged due to the faulty airbridge/high winds, would you have been happy to take the rap?....naw.... Well shut up and stop making assumptions!!!

It's ok for a tin can to takeoff/land but it's not ok for the ground staff to operate a tube that is connected to the terminal? Ok.... Sounds like lazy staff to me...

Try a 5 hour delay at Brisbane Airport, Australia a couple of weeks ago because of nothing more than a single bird strike! Engineers had to open up the affected engine to clean it of birdy remains and to ensure there was no damage while passengers had no choice but to wait. Sucked to be them!

HA! I seen that plane from the gate! I was boarding the easy jet flight to paris on the left of the emirates flight, our plane was shaking like mad, pilots like, yeah so we're just going to go for it! I've never been so scared in my life lol. To be fair, it wasn't bad, it was turbulent though. Unlucky mate, can't believe you were stuck there for 2 hours :(

Wow that must have been some flight. Home safe :-) Aye gear has continued in you trip away. My new Jacket is under the tree ready for Christmas . . . can't wait mate, I had a sneak look at its first class.

@rcBitz i was originally meant to fly back on 30th nov but the airline called me and said change dates due to the immigration strike here in the UK. So I changed to the 7th and this happens! Nice one re jacket, got your email - thanks for adding the wee note. Enjoy, happy days :D
