This is a tribute to Mr. Twain, or as some call him.."Samuel Clemens"...Yes I used a Christian Hymn it seemed like a good choice to go along with the pictures..

  • Everytime I get in a bad mood, I just look up some of his quotes to laugh. He makes some of my toughest days bearable. Love him.

  • And he took that pen name because he was a steamboat captain and loved the river. "Mark Twain" meant safe water. What a great man. I want to visit his home in Hannibal, Missouri sometime.

  • Mark Twain wasn't an American Symbol, he was THE american Symbol..Damn Mark, you left us with a blank slate when u died :(...I had the privilege to watch the 3 hour documentary about this brilliance of a man. He was a force to be recon with even 2day !!

  • This video will be used tomorrow in my class to reflect the wisdom, humor, joy, and tears that this wonderful talent gave to us not in vain. A great legacy that shall live on forever!

  • brash, witty, dark, eloquent, and most of all very human. The quintessential American.

    Bravo, Mark Twain.

  • The heavens celebrated the birth and death of Mark Twain with Halley's Comet!

  • And then is played, "In the Garden," not Dvorak.

  • Alabama: This part of Dvorak's New World Symphony became the melody of the hymn, "Going Home."

  • It is a Afro-American spiritual called Going Home! Dvorak based part of his 9th symphony, From the New World, on it.!

  • Its NOT a Hymn, It is by Dvorak, it is classical music, of the Romantic Age! But I love Mark Twain too :-)

  • No greater life was ever had, or had us in it's sight, or exposed the motives and shortcomings of so many who want to adore him.

  • Love Mark Twain!
