  • Well, the colour is appropriate. You have a whole line of cowardly bullies and bigots all waving yellow signs.

  • Randy Phillips, who has been a YouTube sensation with his phone call to his dad video, has made a fun film on just this very topic. Do not miss the YouTube video:

"Gay Marriage Should Be Illegal" by AreYouSuprised

  • Um, I don't understand your grammar on your first sentence. Are you talking about gay married couples who want to marry in the church? Nice way to twist it around. If you don't fear gays, please explain what is right and wrong. What hurts you? Are you saying I am intolerant because I reject archaic indoctrination by people stuck in the dark ages? I've never been preached to by anyone other than jesus freaks trying to push their agenda. Ever. If you kept to yourself we wouldn't have a problem.

  • Yes I beleive in separation of church and state. Churches should stay out unless what is going on will have a direct affect on freedom of religion. The issue is exactly what is going on in MASS..know the facts! Lawsuits galore for religious intitutions who simply cannot comply to adopt our marry to these people because of their beleifs. It is not about fearing gays, for religious people it is about what is right and wrong. Tolerance goes both ways! Remember that when you so harshly judge.

  • I never used the word "illegal". This isn't as simple as agreeing to disagree. Tell me, do you believe in the concept of Church and State? Then tell me why you worry about others, especially the ones who don't belong to your cult? By keeping people from doing what they want by using tax exempt cults to lobby for their own fear based propositions is imposing don't ya think? The hidden agenda is people who fear gays are the weird ones who do sick stuff behind closed doors...the most gay people.

  • Obviously we have very different views and can agree to disagree. There was nothing done that was illegal by the contributers excercising their rights. We all have the rights to uphold our ideals in this society and we have already learned what it means to do so with unfair accusations. We are not imposing them on anyone else by keeping marriage defined as it has always been. Gays have the SAME rights but I don't think it is about that piece of paper, there is a hidden deeper agenda. I am done!

  • rageballer, This bill was created and funded by a group of churches. The fact that their followers contributed is just as sad. This is not just another point of view. This is a separation of Church and State issue. I do not believe in hate based religion, and I do not trust you to tell us what is right and wrong. You can pick and choose what you want to believe from your outdated fable book, but I choose to live in a progressive thinking world. Unfortunately I am a minority in that regard.

  • hey smarty Maybe you should know the facts. The No side actually funded over a few million more. How hypocritical this whole thing is! You speak of hate and all I see from the NO is anger and persectution because YOU can't tolerate another view. I know for a fact my church did not fund a dime...It was the members who are passionate about the issue that did. Disagreeing with a lifestyle that is trying to legitimize it's behavior I know to be wrong doesn't make it hate or intolerance. Wake up!

  • ragingballs, I did not lose. I see this as a futile war between the major churches (hate cults) and the regular people of our society. What you like to ignore is the fact that this was a major ballot initiative paid for by highly organized and rich religious groups. To me it's less about gays as it is about religion funding bills and influencing law. Your old funky ragged book is so full of hate and you focus on such small parts of what it says and you worry about it. Why?

  • News flash....CAL voted and you lost! Isn't a democracy great...thankgoodness we are entiled to our own opinions...Thank you for expressing yours in such a loving way...that is what your words are, merely opionion and Fortunatley most people don't agree with you. They have the same rights as everyone else. We are merely speaking about the way in which a society defines marriage. Any society that equivocates these two types of relationships as one in same is delusional.
