Fiji Hip Hop Documentary

Finally, we have enough material to put together a 3 part doco film about the birth of Fiji Hip Hop, where it is today and where we hope it will be going. This Film will also act as an educational tool to many of our old folk back here in Fiji so that they understand that Hip Hop is a worldwide phenom that cannot be brushed aside as another Taboo topic. Our youth of today are surrounded by this culture and we need to learn to understand it. It already is paying dividends to a few young Rappers and Dancers who make good money doing promotional work using their gifts. We will have one on one interviews with Law enforcement agencies, youth development officers, parents, critics plus our rappers and Hip Hop dancers as well. Stay tuned

Just came back from Tonga (and Fiji), was so happy that this 'take what we want' way of thinking was NOT much there.

Tonga still is 'the friendly islands' country, was amazing to feel so safe and accepted, treated well by all locals.

Can't wait to go back.
