Brooke/Lucas - Wedding Bells

Oooh, an AU BL video for a change.

Anyway I think the story is pretty clear. Lucas married Peyton, it doesn't turn out to be the happily ever after he expected (what happens with LP is irrelevant to what this video is really about) and now Brooke is marrying Julian and Lucas cannot help like feel like his life has ended up with completely the wrong life and that if Brooke marries Julian he will be miserable his whole life.

Read after watching - call me crazy, bug I think this is a happy ending. Lucas goes to ask Brooke not to marry Julian, realises that would be selfish, he just has to be himself, the good guy that he is and let Brooke do what she feels like she needs to do. He realises that you can't know what's going to happen in the future, maybe he's meant to be with Brooke, maybe's he's not, but he's happy either way. Why? Because Brooke's happy.

OMG this was perfect I actually wouldnt of minded this kind of ending because it would have still showed Lucas loved her but let her be happy like all the times she had done that for him and that their love never did die

Wow, this is as spectacular as I thought it would be.

I loved every voice over, every manip, every detail that you created with such effort and passion. The fact he didn't stop her from marrying Julian is something Luke would've done certainly, because he always put her happiness before his own. And I honestly think Brooke and Lucas will always love each other in a special way, and that they were too scared to try and be together, and struggle together, so they just settled.

also the one person who disliked this is clearly watching a different video than i am because there is no way ANYONE--even the biggest lp fan out there--could deny how spectacular this is. the voice overs, clip selection, manips... all of it was beautiful.

oh... my god. i am a mess now. thanks for that. hahah. no, but seriously there are tears literally streaming down my face. i miss them so much. i'd give up all of my other ships' happy endings if it meant these two would've ended up together with their 2 boys & a girl living out their happily ever after. i firmly believe that brooke & lucas will always be in love with each other and that they settled for peyton and julian, respectively. -sigh- it's obvious how much effort went into this. loveee.
