I feel so bad for Lucas. He deserves WAY more credit! Everyone keeps saying how much a wimp or a crybaby he is. Well, you try loosing your mother, having to save the world, then having to fight your twin brother who you grew up with and is the closest friend to you in the WHOLE world AND watch him die. Then lets see how you act >.>

It's sad because it reminds me of my little hedgehog....I was having a great time talking to my brother in my room about stuff..but on 10:30 pm at night when I was getting a drink of water...my dad was carrying my hedgehog to the cage with tears in his eyes...I looked over and saw that my hedgehog was not breathing...thats when my dad told me that he past away..I loved him like my little brother...

You get really attached to these characters in the mother series....I think that is what makes them so great. To me, It's feels real. Thinking about it, I've never felt so emotional about a game.

In mother 3 it's like, yeah, Lucas is a little kid whose afraid and a " crybaby " but you see him grow and become strong and save the world...totally matures. :"-

Pretty much everyone should play the Mother/Earthbound series.

@HitomiSusuki1 Not to mention you inadvertently kill him by having the Franklin Badge on you. Or that you accidentally assisted him in his suicide. Either way, you play a role in his death. Which sucks, cause all you wanna do is get him back D:

@Evnyofdeath I know what you mean, i'm a emotional sucker when it comes to showing ness seeing the asc. the whole series is an emotional trip, because with mario your like " oh well i'll see you next game mario", but with mother you never want to see those pixelated characters go

@HitomiSusuki1 ...In game he is explicitly refered to as being a crybaby, for at least the first half of the game. In the second half, its implied he has outgrown it to an extent, and is completely out of it by the end of the game

I say, even thou some people may disagree with me, that Lucas isn't exactly what you call a crybaby since he was strong enough to save the world even after the death of her mother and that his brother went away to try to make her death worthy by killing the drago himself so I don't really think he is a crybaby!!!!
