It blows me away to hear all these punks talk shit about the Kid and his country roots. I personally find it awesome that he gives props to all the outlaws of the past. What most of the haters don’t understand is that if it was not for the good old boys of the past Jay Z and everyone else would be singing gospel tunes. Guys like Hank Jr, Waylon, Willy, Haggard, Cash, No show Jones, David Allen Coe were the first ones to say fuck the world and write songs for real folks.
