Your version sounds cool. Obviously a heartfelt tribute. I like that you're not trying to BE Bob Marley or sing it exactly like he did, rather you are doing your own artistic/ creative take on the song. I hate hateful commenters and the fact is, they probably can't play a note of guitar, or sing themselves. It's so easy to get on someone's page and criticize. I think they should take a good look at themselves. Haters are being totally closed minded and not in the spirit of Marley's teachings.
