Can you share some of the construction details of your p-bars? I'm about to start excavating an area in my back yard for my kids' play structure and I was thinking of adding a pull-up bar and some p-bars. I know you used 4x4s, but what sort of pipe? How did you secure the pipes in the 4x4s? etc... Is there anything you'd do differently? I live in Oregon with plenty of moisture a lot of the year... similar to Florida in that respect.
@jimsiff Jim I have details of all my equipment builds listed on my word press blog. I will add the URL to the video description since I can't throw a URL in comments.
Can't believe how nice these look. Ironically I'm living in Naples too and have been looking for anything resembling parallel bars in our parks but can't find anything. I have the rods, just need to get nice heavy pillars and dig DEEP into our sandy ground so there is no shaking and moving. Nice job, sir!
@pmihai108 Yea they work out pretty well but in the Florida climate I already have seen some warping in the 4x4's. If I did them again I might just make them ALL pipe, similar to what I did for my recently completed high bar.

Are those pressure treated 4x4's?

@Polarcupcheck Yes they are. I also treated them with water sealer.
