  • The engine ran about 1:30, I wouldn't call that an extended period. If you cant stand to see it,

    don't watch it!

  • I got a set of Porter glass packs for it, really cool sounding mufflers!

  • nice machine!i like the "dirty" sound of those flatheads.looking forward to buy an old ford project in a couple of month.just have to save some cash :)

    would be awesome!

    regards from germany!

  • @GIwillo Thanks, they do have a pretty cool sound . I am putting this one in a 29 Ford Coupe

  • They are pretty cool old engines, I think you should have one too !

  • that is an awesome sound !!

  • Very cool thanks for shareing, luv the old flat heads.

  • Why do and other people run these beautiful engines for extended periods without coolant i cant stand to see it ....

  • Flatheads LOVE to run.Theyll start an run by themselve if you turn yer back on them.If they could figure out how to depress the cluch they would go on down to the grub store and fetch the weeks food list.I aint a kidden. They love to run.

  • At about 1:38 i noticed that the top of Gary's head was about as flat as the flathead. Beautiful sounding engine btw

  • Geeze, I love that sound! Especially at idle 2:35

  • Don't think those old flatheads didn't have much power compared to today's cars. They'd pin you right back in the seat. 3 G's at least!

  • @ Glwillo It said taruot taruot taruottaruot taruottaruot taruot taruot taruottaruot

You should learn to speak engine language.

  • The rough sound isnt because of the engine, its because of the open headers, it obviously needs a light tune aswell... not trying to bash the owner, just stating the facts, beautiful engine, amazing work done. it sounds just great too.
