Animal Barn Dance From Wall Drug

This is probably the funniest of all the coin-operated animatronics at Wall Drug. The cheesy charm of this one, is the squeaking of the Goose's fiddle and the broken arms of the rabbits. I'm guessing this dates back to the 1950's.




I shot this during a trip to South Dakota back in 2004 and its still makes me laugh.

They couldn't have just destroyed all of these great things from years gone by, this must surely now be on display somewhere else, or in a private collection? I may be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that this display was made in 1965. Is anyone able to clarify this?
