Lots of women back in that era were sexy! What happened to the women now?

I remember when the Petty Girl and Vargas Girl calenders were in the barbershops and garages. Too bad the seamed nylons and suspenders are such a pain fior the girls. Nice nylons do so well at covering blemishes like scratches and spider veins, and the stockings with reinforced heels & toes hide rough skin and groaty toenails. "Leg-makeup" did not quite do it during the WW-II years, but it was fun helping to put on the fake seams with a brown pencil. Hee hee hee. I rather miss it all..

thanks for this vid, so well put together with that classic song. Its so true the comments from other viewers, that these women portraited here are so sexy and classically beautiful. The less is more approach with only the stockings and garter belts showing, is the forbidden naughty stuff that makes these women Goddesses compared to the sickly skinny anorexic models of today.

What song is this

'It's Been a Long, Long Time' By Harry James and His Orchestra. I believe that Kitty Kallen is the singer. Thanks for watching! :)

Kitty Kallen does the vocals here. "Pretty Kitty" is alive and well and still performing today.
