  • Thanks so much for this rare Wayne Shorter recording. I used to listen to this endlessly about 25 years ago working as a musician in Atlanta. I would listen to this driving home at 2AM, and at every other hour of the day! Lady Day is a beautiful ballad from the same LP. Spiritual music for a wounded planet!

  • all of us listening to this? we'd all be on the permaculture planet. fruit for all & always plentifull

  • Thank the gods for the Internet. All this great music is getting another chance to reach new listeners.

  • Stop waffling you lot and enjoy the music!

  • @BestCoolGuy22 Do you really want to be talking with everyone you meet about Wayne Shorter? Or do you prefer a world where only people who really understand music (this is a small number) care about this? Think about that. Personally I prefer the world where this stuff stays out of the mainstreem. That way we don't have sex symbols playing Speak no Evil. Furthermore I think pretentious is the wrong word to use. I wasn't trying in the slightest.

  • @Sunderlanding That's one of the most untrue and pretentious things I've ever heard. The music isn't less good because you don't feel as special with more people in your little secret club.

  • @Libertarian369 If everyone listened to music like this it would stop being special and become commonplace. What makes it so great is that only a select portion of the population get it.

  • Only 2210 views?! I mean Lady Gaga warrants over 1 billion views and real music is relegated to also ran status? I don't get it!

  • this is very cool!!
