FOO shows you how to shim and glue the backpack together. Get ready for some serious gluing and sanding!!! This is an issue with anybody's pack. Doing a clamshell approach will result in some angles that just don't quite line up. SOoo lots of glue or bondo and a fair amount of sanding are in order.

  • Foo has TZA armor, and I would expect around $700 - $750

    the armor looks good though

Polymer Armory has some RC armor too, around $700 I believe

btw Foo, Great tutorial, thank you soooooo much

any suggestions on what to use to pad the inside of forarms that someone has already put in place and is too big for me, I thought of just some foam insulation, but thought I'd ask the master, you ...

  • @elddir Yes PA also makes RC. They have been doing it for quite a few years now. I have a PA kit as well and am very happy with it. They are closer to $900+ for their kit with all the accessories. As far as the forearms I use self adhesive pipe insulation. Open it to a "U" shape, remove the adhesive cover and make a nice foam ring around the upper and lower openings of the piece. I do the same thing for the biceps and the calfs. I will of course show a video on that when I get there.

  • I have to admit, even some Stormy armor is very pricey, so $900 is not too bad ... still a bit though ...

I'm just in the middle of nowhere and I'm worried I may mess up the armor beyond repair so I haven't done too much yet ...

    thanks for the reply

    these are great tutorials

  • FOO, your videos are extremely informative in the technique of assembly for this armor. So much so that I am wanting to make my own armor! But I have but 2 questions....where can I find some armor that is for sale and what would YOU recomend? I have no idea of price ranges or quality of the armor that some people sell. Could you help me out here, please?

  • Cool
