  • @MrDjtivoli wtf are you lost or something you cant be for- real with that

  • @MrDjtivoli you do know its a new system for your tv right and the controller that just has a screen on it its not your main screen dude wake up man dont buy one if you dont want one but dont make up retarded excuses

  • I have a question for you.. Most technical and please you can answer, only if you are certain about it. How many stream processing units, you know or believe wii U is coming with. It is important in matters of horse power.

For example, If the gpu comes with 320 (the most reasonable entry in matters of power consumption and cost), then is going to be better than ps3 and xbox360 but not dramatically better, and a bit risk for the upcoming ones.

If its 400 spu that means power!! Even for many yrs

  • @ermacos that i couldn't tell you because the version thats going in the system is not the same as the PC Card version

  • @MrDjtivoli - Your comment is invalid. You don't know a single thing what the Wii U does. Using a tablet-like controller opens up a whole new door for both consumers and developers.

  • subbed, thanks for the tech breakdown

  • @Cushions29

he is a stockholder, he pretty much knows whats in the wiiU right now, and if u dont think the 720 wont be announced this year then ur blind

  • But they haven't even revealed most of the spec's for the Wii U.

Not only that, but the Xbox 720 doesn't even exist, nor any reference to the "next" Xbox.

  • @MrDjtivoli Dude, are you retarded? You do realize that that's just the controller, NOT the console, right? The console hooks up to your tiny 32" screen, and you play the games on the TV, using the controller. You simply have the OPTION to play the game on your controller's screen as well as your TV. You can use wii remotes/classic controller and classic controller pro for multiplayer as well, you don't have to use 4 tablet controllers. The CCP is $20. Cheap, like your TV.

  • @java2000 I'm trying to find the article, but I'm pretty sure it was Crytek that claimed they had DX11 running on Wii U dev kits. Team Ninja has also stated that the dev kits have been constantly changing, based on input from developers on what they want from the hardware. Still, even with DX11 capability, the 6670 still can't keep up with the 4870. If both are customized, and the custom 4870 does indeed support DX11, Nintendo is in a good position to beat or be on par with the 720.

  • hey dc, is it rumoured that the wii u uses a gpu based off the r700? or confirmed?

  • This is a continuation of my last post. xbox using 6670 is like the emotion engine of next gen, as far as actual processing power it is actually outperformed, but it can use advanced shaders that will in theory make games that look much better. A developer who can find ways to push xbox720's dx11 features while keeping a decent frame rate, will create games that look much better than a dx10 counterpart. And if we go by gflops hd4870: 1200gflops HD 7570: 624. imho raw power vs more advanced tec

  • Tho the wii u card is better on those test's, I think it will still not look as good in action, when you consider the fact it does not support dx11. Any game developed for xbox3 or whatever it is can in theory use dx11 features such as Tessellation, Bokeh Depth of Field, Image Based Reflections, Deferred Shading, and Screen Space Subsurface Scattering. With the low end performance of that card I'd say Microsoft has something along the line of emotion engine of the ps2 era advanced but week.

  • @ermacos The GPU is confirmed to be "custom", details beyond that are unknown.
