Thanks for this, I made my Loki helmet out of foam and was afraid the resin might ruin it.

Polystyrene foams will melt or react with any paint or casting materials that contain aromatic solvents,paints such as acrylic,water based and two pack epoxies will not react,paints such as cellulose,xylene and enamels will melt expanded foam and most plastics.As with all paints and materials it's always a good idea to test the materials on each other before use.Fast cure epoxies and epoxies mixed with too much hardner are highly exothermic and the heat can melt and deform low melting point pla

It might not have deformed as much with a thinner coat. Just a thought.

were do you get your foam and stuff im making a guyver and i know i can get the thick stuff at home depo but what about the thin stuff

We have a few small parts to complete before suits are sold. We will have to discuss price but I think around $800.00.

Hey Ithica Have you experimented anymore with the resin and foam? A similar question Came up on TheRPF and I remembered this video.

@BaconLettucePickles Yes it works fine for the thins and the thicker EVA Foam. If you use urethane resin it is better than the aqua resin.
