@NoboruTakaoka wouldnt it be that he uses the two flares to keep the enemy preoccupied while he sets up traps around the area. the enemy, if hit by a trap, will recieve damage if the flare is nearby. starfall is practically unblockable and cant be dodged which is why it takes so long to activate. the mines draw enemies near so if you dodge you get closer to them and the dynamite and shock traps deal the brv damage. the midair seal is more defensive than anything else
funny thing is almost every character can reflect his Flare. But the AI are not programed to do it. For example Tidus's energy rain reflects back flare against him. And that's the best way to level up in this game.
Even though the move is slow, it's still rather effective, though:
It homes in on the target, and it reflects many of their projectile attacks. Mix it in with a few traps, limiting the opponent's movement, and it's pretty deadly.
In short, it's a very easy way to keep an opponent away and keep them from using most of their long-range attacks.
you are aware that the emperor only has 2 moves that actually do damage. 1 of those takes a year and a half to charge...lighting trap is the only way to get someone to get hit by the only useable damaging move that moves slow as hell...explain to me how that is spamming when its all he has? Also im not here to interest you...its to show how to use the emperor. thank you have a nice day
