The Metra Morning Rush, 6/20/08, Schaumburg, IL.

Today, I went out to the Milwaukee West District/CP Elgin Subdivision to catch the CP/IC&E reroutes that were taking place. Usually freights run East out of the CP Bensenville Yard but due to the flooding in Wisconsin, these trains were rerouted West. Other than 2 locals a day, the CP Elgin Subdivision West of the yard never sees any freight.

Before the freights came, I caught these trains at the end of rush hour.

Train 2213, F40PH-2 #112 (Over 20 minutes late due to freight train interferance.)
