DIYRC's "Simple-Timer", PIC-based programmable timer/switch. Using push button, you can program for either 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 minutes. It also incorporates a programmable low voltage cutoff (LVC) which constantly monitors your power source assuring it never drains below the user-programmed LVC but turning the switch off if engaged. This is a demo of the unit controlling a 12v car relay. A NZ customer is going to use this timer to activate a 12v underwater motor on a long- line fishing Kontiki (look it up... sort of like a mini surface sub that tows your longline out to sea from a beach head).
This is exactly what I am looking for. Would you kindly send me the circuit diagram.
Regards,
Mike

Hi there, I am a kiwi, and looking to make a konitiki using the timer. Do you have the schematics for the circuit? Also do you have any other info on the size of motor etc
Cheers
