She's said to have a voice of an angel. But you just look into her eyes as she's singing and you'll see Enya can't be just a singer, she really is an... shhhh! :)

does anyone else find it really cowardly that she only ever lipsynchs?? listen to the original recording and this, it's exactly the same. and why on earth does she have a whole fleet of violins behind her, despite the fact that it's so obvious that a synth is used on the recording that's being played back

Yes, you are right. Every „live" performance is like a circus especially violins are funny. I have seen only three live performance (Enya sang live and music was playback) and it was horrible, She was nervous with shaky voice .
