Farewell Speech

Assalam u alaikum n a very good morning to all of u!
Okay lets make this short n sweet, i don't want u all to be yawning by the end of this speech!
Hmm so where do i start,ammm....in the year 1998 there was a pampered kid who walked into meis with huge plastic nerdy glasses, almost bald, wearing pants high up on the chest!..in the year 2007 almost a decade later, he walks out being a complete man...this journey of a decade feels like as if it was a single day!

When it comes to talking about MEIS, its not the academics here that come to mind, rather its that certain feeling associated with the name itself...tht feeling of being at home n at ease...coming to think of it, all my best friends were from meis, my first crush was in MEIS, my first fite was in MEIS, the first time i bunked a class was in MEIS, i performed on stage in MEIS for the first time, i took part in sports events in MEIS for the first time, all credit goes to MEIS! So u can imagine what MEIS is to me! Ive seen MEIS grow, ive grown with MEIS! The average life span of a person is 60 years, ive spent 1/6th of my life here! Its not just a skool i went to, its literally 1/6th of my whole life!!!

Coming to the teachers, ahhh.....all knowledge that i have, comes from U..need i say more? Uve been great, inspiring n supportive throughout, mrs bindu, mrs laxmi n mrs gansy, im sorry i know ive been a bad boy thnks for bringing me to track every time i went off track!!!
Mrs asha...haha...for us uve been a mom away from home,u never discouraged us, rather always made us realize how much we mean to u by mentioning the word 'MY BOYS' with pride! i cant believe uve been chasing me to tuck my shirt in each n every day for two whole years, im sorry for letting u down at times and hurting u...i promise to live up to ur expectations!
Mrs tabussum farooqi, honestly speakin, i don't really know her in person! All i know is that she is one amazing lady,always smiles under all circumstances! i remember when i met her to get admitted in skool, she didn't let me take the entry test, n said to my dad, i can see it in this boy's eyes, i know he's confident he doesn't need this test, ryt bilal? and i swear that sentence inpires me till today, believe it or not mam.you're great
Behind every successful man, there is a woman..yes i got a woman too...shes sitting ryt there smiling at me in shock..my mom...interesting fact, this is the first time ever she's seeing me on the podium. For her im still that little pampered kid whom she used to dress up n send to skool with a kiss! Mom i wudnt have been half the man i am without u..i never told u but..i love u...thnks for everything
N yes, all the friends ive made here, are the bestest of friends ever! When they were with me i had their support, if at all they went against me they only taught me to survive on my own, guys i accept u all da way u r , cant ever forget u n the things we did!
Lastly, unexpectedly great effort has been put up by the juniors...guys uve been great buddies..thnks for making our day,,,one hell of a memorable day!
Ill end this by sayin as i said last year
'musafir hum bhi hain musafir tum bhi ho ....phir kisi mour pe mulakaat hogi'
but the difference is last year isaid it to my graduating seniors, n this time its for everyone, in my last speech ever in MEIS
