  • If you're making a vague argument, which seems to be the constant, that any use of the word gay is born out of a malice for gay people, you're are making up that persons emotional context in stead of asking, "hey what's the joke in that, what did you mean?"

It makes you feel better because you have no other reason to do it but to tickle that small part in your brain that says, "Yep I did the good right thing." In essence making it about yourself.

Lastly who do you talk to? Jaded fucks like me

  • @aromcath 1: I talk to people about it every day. Don't make assumptions about me.

2: Makes me feel better? What are you talking about? I do it b/c I want to do what I think is right.

3: You seem to be making things up.

4: Since you think you know everything about me, guess to who I talk about this dilemna

  • @nicholascball81119 You aren't treating people fairly by always assuming their basing their word choice out of an emotional gripe against gays, you're being lazy because you're not talking to people and instead make up their emotional context for yourself from what amounts to using a buzz word chart. You're not standing up for people who can't defend themselves. You're doing all this nonsense because it makes you feel better or in other words, "me-me-me-me", "I do", "I don't"

  • @aromcath CONT/LAST (for real) (isn't this annoying)- I don't care howmany times you reply. I think I'm doing what's right. You can't change my mind. "That's so gay" is rude, mean, offensive, and impracticle.

  • @aromcath CONT/LAST(?) No one ever said I was a "crusader for rightousness." I don't do this to get noticed. I do it b/c I want people to stop being mean to to people who aren't like them. Mean is not really limited. Anyone who isn't completely apathetic knows what mean is. And you don't need to be soooo political about this. It's wrong and these people wanted to try and stop it. You don't know everything. So don't pretend to.

  • @aromcath CONT- so don't put words in my mouth. I never said it was't futile. But I can still try. I know using that term to used to harm people who fall into that category. This video is stating: you don't want people to say that about you, so don't say it about them. Since you appear to know everything about futility, you should know, that raplying is futile. I will always stand up for what's right. That's just who I am. I don't pretend to be perfect.

  • @aromcath You don't get what I'm saying at all. I know all about when gay lost innocence. And it is offensive. And I don't treat people like villians, I treat them like people. And there WAS a time when saying that was frowned upon. I don't know what you mean, the laziest route. I try to end it all the time, not just online. I'm against queer and fag as well. I'm probably against cunt too, but I don't know what that even is. I never said gay had innocence,

  • @nicholascball81119 CONT/LAST- Finally, you having an emotional reaction to a homosexual has nothing to do with the use of the word gay, nor does have any effect of the emotional context a person using that word to harm such a person. With that aside, again you're not a crusader for righteousness for combating the word gay. You're taking the laziest route to combat that negative emotional context and one that's futile in this kind of attack. Lastly, what's "mean" is subjective let alone limited.

  • @nicholascball81119 CONT- "Gay" lost its innocence centuries ago. Starting in the 1700s, the word was used as a euphemism for pretty much anything sexual -- and in a surprising twist, it used to label anybody who was outrageously straight. In the late 1800s, "gay lady" meant prostitute, and "gay house" was a brothel. In fact, if you were a womanizer, you would have been called "gay." If that's not strange enough, a dictionary from 1811 listed "gaying instrument" as a slang term for "penis."

  • @nicholascball81119 Okay this takes more then 500 characters but here's were we start. "This is as close as it gets to stopping..."; how exactly does this address the emotional context of a person wishing ill will towards another? You're picking words because its lazy, you don't have to talk to people and have a conversation about what their intent was. You know, treat people like people instead of villains from Captain Planet. Once gay is out the context goes to fag, queer, cunt etc.
