Are you serious? This is where you lost all respect for Kobe? You have got to be kidding me! Kobe knew what position he was putting himself in by asking to be traded, and damn it he was right, the front office was doing nothing but bringing in "has beens" to Kobe. Had Kobe not spoken out Lakers would of not been this good as they are now!
yes i am serious :p, i used to love kobe, i even have a lakers' cap from back in the days(loved the shaq-kobe duo) he was basically considering not playing in LA at all, it wasnt just puttin pressure on the "front office".he didnt see himself in a laker uniform for the upcoming season.besides this wasnt the reason why the lakers got better.the lakers got lucky after the gasol donation. how could u ever justify giving up a player who i believed had made the allstar team back then for nothing
there's a difference between bein committed (contract-wise) n not bein.kobe was still basically da "property" of the lakers, but lebron isnt gonna be. EVEN TO THIS day have u lebron saying "maybe this isnt the place for me"?? not even to this extent,he's just said im not goin to sign an extension, which could also mean,he'll opt out to get a new contract(possibly with the cavs)for more money. but kobe was still under contract,he started whining, blamin people, actin immature@d age of 28!!Lebron's 24
why does lebron not wanta stay in cleveland? money hes got a franchise that can win but what he wants is to go to a bad ny team to earn more long term.....try to justify that
did u even read my comment? lebron NEVER SAID HE DOESNT WANNA BE IN CLEVELAND?do u have EVIDENCE?i'd be more than willing to check it out. if wat im guessing is correct, lebron is actually playing a very smart mind-game with people and the franchise forcing them to act urgently to make some REAL moves. (this is in response to your "why does lebron not wanta stay in cleveland..." comment)
Everyone keeps ASKING him about the chances of going to NY.
He doesn't bring it up, like Kobe did.
And he said it way before the Cavs had ANY kind of franchise.
The Cavs just couldn't give him any help, so he was a single manned team. Kobe...he ruined the Lakers himself by getting rid of Shaq, then he points fingers at others!
please kobe was still commited he still came to camp the first day atleast kobe cares more about winning than his bankaccount clevland does everything for lebron besides you think if lebron was 28 he would be happy losing everyear when your team trade caron butler for KWAME BROWN? (nvm mayB he wud in ny)
Committed? He talks shit about the team, even though he's the reason they were a losing team. He ran Shaq off, and he bitches at others! Wow, good job Kobe. You have balls.
And what about Kwame for Gasol! That trade is the only reason the Lakers are a winning team!
