This game is unique in its own way. Its necessarily not like anything else. I've been playing this game for 2 days and I'm still not tired of it so thats a good sign. I recommend getting it.

do you need Half-life2 to play this mod?

You need a Source powered game only, which includes HL2 + episodes, CS:S, DoD:S, TF2, Portal, etc. If you can download the Source SDK Base, you can play most mod, this one for sure.

very neat, well done. What kind of system resources does it take to run a large amount of bots?
JosiaMFire2 3 years ago
Depends, offline mode like this video was running around 40FPS with a Core2 Duo at 2.9GHz. One of the cores actually was used at 50% or so. This is however a mission which exceeds by far the average amount of enemies you'll see, almost 40.
Online mode is different because server runs the AI code. Client CPUs still have to animate the NPCs and such things, but CPU load is lower there.

ahh ok, thanks, thats not bad, I have it as a lan game in-mind. So it takes similar usage to say the css bots?
JosiaMFire2 3 years ago
No, CSS bots tax CPU much more, even double I'd say. Both things are a different concept of AI in the end, a bot tend to imitate humans in a closer way than the combat NPCs we are using.
