@JonWillis9 You won't get 3 hours of heavy gaming out of any laptop at the moment, and phones likewise.
I think you will be seeing a much more limited but much safer rendition of Windows 8 on tablets. Much of the Metro stuff is already proving to be tightly-controlled - no plugins for Metro IE10, for example. What is 2.5 years of being out of the game? Apple won't rule single-handedly, and I can't even say if Honeycomb-optimised apps are in the triple digits.

@thechadaddy All of that with a whopping 2.8 hours of battery life, security problems, and 2.5 years of being out of the game. I'm not saying Windows 8 will be bad-- I'm actually quite looking forward to trying it-- but it has a lot of catching up to do in some pretty important areas.

@thechadaddy hey, your not the engadget commentator are you? but seriously, if it has a fan and a sandy bridge i5, they haven't got the tablet done right. It has to be all SSD, fan less CPU. Either with the Ivy Bridges ULVs or ARMs.
