My new laptop

I got my new HP G62 in the mail.
It was part of a 3yr Telus 'deal'.
So its six months late, and a very long story, and about 5-7 long conversations on the phone with various Telus reps...
But it's here, so my complaining can end. :)
seems to work well.
Just have to clean off all the 'free games', 'free software' and of course clear away Norton antivirus to make way for AVG.

Then we're ready to rock!

hey i'm getting this laptop in a few days(hopefully xD) and i just wanted to know does it overheat quickly? like while playing games and stuff like that...

@oktopod3 No, it doesn't overheat at all... I've worked it pretty hard with video editing and a few things like that... it runs quietly.. the fan is quiet as well, even when its working 'full steam'.

Note: This is NOT NOT NOT a gaming computer. Don't expect to run the latest titles.

my version will have ati radeon 5470 hd with 1gb of memory, and 4gb of ram, so i could play some of the newer games, i hope :)

telus is giving away xbox 360's now. who knows when you'll get them though. shaw is going to be your best bet for good performance out here in yyj.
