@Anontism It got really bad at the other 2 texas shows I was at(went to all three during neverender in the same weekend). It was mostly giant fat people at the back of the front crowd pushing people towards the stage like real douche rockets. There were nice places to chill outside of that though. I went to another one in San Antonion a few years ago and that one probably had the most epic mosh pit of all time, but we managed to keep it to where no one else got involved that didn't want to be.
By the time they were done with the SSTB set, everyone was too tired to get too rowdy. I almost passed out from exhaustion about halfway through the set. Things calmed down shortly after.
@Anontism it was fun! You guys would kinda like float with the other people because no one really moshes at Coheed. There will probably be a side section where you guys can stand too. I know a lot of couples went over there plus you can see the whole stage.
A *question* for anyone who went to this (At any of the venues!!). Did it start getting really crazy after the acoustic set? Like, did the crowd get really rough, especially up front or even in the back of the floor? I ask because I'm bringing my girlfriend to the Boston show and she's rather petite, and I don't want her to get hurt. I've been to many concerts before so I know how to handle myself, but I don't want her to get hurt. Any thoughts?
