"Power of Love" was the second single from the 1987 album Touch , following the #13 Dance hit "Shattered Glass." Produced by Grammy -winner David Kershenbaum, Branigan's vocal brought a rawer rock edge than Rush's mutedly operatic sheen. The song was a favorite of Branigan's tosing, and it continued to appear in even abbreviated set lists throughout the rest of her life.

  • I missed her so much, and only Charice can give justice to this song.

  • Too bad she passed away so soon.

  • Before she passed away, did she write a will as to who gets her copyrights? Let's not let ACTA get away with what they're doing before these videos die along with her.

  • @realmuscle19 Sure looks like it is!

  • Rest in peace baby girl, tears are flowing!

  • Yes. She is good but don't forget Charice.

  • I rather Laura over anyone else

  • @realmuscle19 yep!

  • Jennifer Rush has a smoother voice, but Laura brings so much PASSION to the song. I think both versions are great in their own right.
