Sonic 2 - Boss Run

Alrighty then. First of several requests finished! Sorry these take so long. I can't remember who originally requested Sonic 2... but.. yeah, here it is.

General info:
a) I use Super Sonic during a few of the bosses, but only when it honestly doesn't make a difference.
I still stick to the "no hit" rule when I am Super Sonic, because that wouldn't be fair otherwise.
I act as though I didn't have Super Sonic.
b) Super Sonic was obtained using the "reset" technique, one of the 3 ways to obtain him at the start of the game. Don't bother asking how you do it, just goto GameFAQS.com.
c)That's about it. :P

Boss Specific Notes:
1) Chemical plant boss - the first of several bosses where due to how the bosses work I can use Super Sonic during the fight. In this case he stays in one place and I can pound him.
2) Casino Night Boss - The first time you hit this boss, the invunerability lasts longer than usual, which is why I didn't attack him for a while.
3) Hill Top Boss - Easiest boss in Sonic history?
4) Metropolis Boss - Take a look at when I hit the boss. That's the only time you can hit him without gettiing hurt as far as I'm aware, other than waiting for the "opening up" attack he does if you wait.
5) Wing Fortress - Another difficult boss. I've found the best way is to stay on the platforms as much as possible.
6) Final Boss - Probably not the safest of methods to defeat the final boss, as theres a small chance Sonic fails to bounce off Robotnik and falls into the Arm.
That didn't happen to me, so it was a one shot, one kill on my part.
This verison of the Egg Emperor is the coolest version of that robot in my opinion. It looks imposing, something the other Egg Emperor's lack. (Sonic and Knuckle's version excluded.)

Things get renamed depending on what country it's in.

In this case it's Mecha Sonic in Japan and Silver Sonic everywhere else.

Both names are correct. Robotnik is his real name, and Eggman is his self applied nickname.

It's been this way since Sonic Adventure.

can i just point out, the bits where you say super sonic makes a diff/doesnt make a diff, are wrong, all of them. super sonic makes no diffrence on any of the bosses(except the last few, but you can only get him via debug anyways). if you know what your doing, you dont need him at all, fun to use though.

You've practised a hell of a lot, I could finish the game too but it would take me a lot longer to beat the bosses, especially the last one.
