1971 Cadillac, Coupe deVille, ONE OWNER, 65k Miles, FOR SALE
This is a gorgeous completely original one owner 1971 Coupe deVille (Style 68249N) having covered a mere 65,400 miles since new. With the aging of it's owners, this gorgeous original motorcar has travelled about 150 miles over the past 20 years; residing in Escondido, California. This completely rust-free fully documented car is all original: never repainted as it bares its nearly perfect original Casablanca Yellow (Code 2175), original white vinyl top, etc. This is a true survivor and is ready for touring or car shows.

It has been freshly serviced with new radials and battery to make this a wonderful touring car. It comes complete with the original owners manual and warranty information as issued by the dealer on the day that Norma and Felix Peace bought the car forty years ago. The interior is absolutely gorgeous and with the original spectacular brocade cloth and deep pile carpeting.

We are still prepping and detailing this fabulous motorcar but we wanted to share the preliminary information with our clientele. This Cadillac has absolutely no rot whatsoever. The areas near the vinyl top are perfect, and since everything is original there are no fears of repair work or cover-up!

When the all new 1971 Cadillac's hit dealer showrooms in the fall of 1970, customers loved the new look. The side panels had curves, and there were softly rounded corners where there were none before. Everything was new, from the inside out. The all new design included new grilles, new taillights and new instrument panels. These cars are big, comfortable, roomy, and handle remarkably well considering their size. This was the last body style where one could lower all the side windows and experience that true hardtop look. Cadillac would retain this basic body through 1976, after which the new down sized models would appear.

For sheer roominess and stretch out luxury, you will not find a more comfortable car to take a trip. The large glass areas provide a wide vista to enjoy passing scenery, and the seats are supportive and comfortable, even for trips that last all day long. Once you take a trip in a 1971 Cadillac, you'll never want to use any other vehicle for such a trip again. They're that comfortable. Just set the Climate Control for the temperature you prefer, lock in the speed limit with the Cruise Control, press the search bar to find the FM stereo radio station that suits you, and you're off! You'll see why people loved these big cars for so long. Really, there's nothing else like them for long trips. They do spoil you, and 70 mph for eight hours or longer is nothing for that big Cadillac engine.

Specifications for the 1971 Cadillac are:

Displacement: 472 CID V-8
Bore and Stroke: 4.30 x 4.06
Compression Ratio: 8.5 to 1
Gross Horsepower: 365 @ 4400 rpm
SAE Net Horsepower: 220 @ 4000 rpm
Torque: 500 ft.-lbs. @ 2800 rpm
SAE Net Torque: 380 @ 2400 rpm
Carburetor: Rochester Quadrajet 4MV

Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission

The overall length of this deVille is 225.8″ and the wheelbase is a smooth and comfortable 130″. This Cadillac was set up new with a powerful Motorola two-way radio system that we have not removed. We can either remove it, or if the new owner desires it for club tours we will leave it with the deVille.

We will be updating the site with more details and information as we complete our preparations. This is a wonderful opportunity to by a fabulous all-original Cadillac.

  • Sweetness ! *DAMN* That antenna hole.....

  • Damn, what a beauty. Such a shame, that they screwed a hole in the chassis for that antenna. This will require bodywork and respray and is completely ruining the perfection of that georgeous car

  • My grandma used to drive I think an '89 Sedan de Ville that was the same color. Lots of memories from my childhood of that car. Pretty gutless for a V8 though.

  • Casablanca yellow!! ....this was like watching porn!

  • Nice car and color
