The use as food oil is certainly one central application of the cold pressed plant oils. That is where they make an important contribution to a healthy nutrition. High quality oils are also elementary and basic ingredients in the chemical-, pharmaceutical- and cosmetic industries. They can be found in salves, capsules, creams, soaps, shampoos and lipsticks.

And finally: What is left over after the pressing is no left over. The press cake, which is a byproduct from the oil pressing, is recovered from the pressing process as pellets. These are high value feed and food supplements, and not only for animals. They also find use in the manufacture of cookies and chocolates as additives or as panade. After all,, the walnut pellets are nothing else than de-oiled nuts. In addition, the press cake is also suitable as natural fertilizer or as a fuel.
