Seems like they taped this without an audience and then added a laugh track. (The soap opera-ish ambience makes that clear.) It's odd because I think the ABC years had a live studio audience, but I guess they got rid of the audience to save money when they went to syndication.

I doubt it will ever get an official retail release, but Warner Brothers are slowly converting shows to their Manufacture-on-Demand DVD program.

This reminds me of those old slasher movies for some reason. Why is that? Only with bad jokes and a fake laugh track.

I loved how someone (especially the stuffy Nancy Beebe) would always slam the cover on the piano player's hands...that was hilarious! :)

My mom used to watch this show when I was little. Too young to appreciate it then but I think that i wouuld love it now. I still remember the theme song though.

I liked having 5 waitresses instead of 4. I remember watching some of Season 1 when they first aired in 1980-"81. I was a young boy then and I liked Ann Jillian and mostly Gail Edwards.

I loved this show! I watched as a youngin and didnt really get the jokes just loved the concept. Wish it were out there on DVD or VHS. Thanx for the clips keep
