Welcome to the Chops juggling tutorial. All constructive feedback and questions wanted!

Thanks for Gballz for sponsoring me! They make great ballz! Everyone go look at the Gballz website at:
http://gballz.com/Gballz_Custom_Juggl...

Need to know before attempting this trick:
3 ball cascade - see tutorial 1
Bonus to know:
Underarm throw

Note: This trick is incredibly hard to just try doing straight away, you'd be best off learning via the steps given to you here. Because of the lack of help on the internet, I've only learnt this trick recently.

Also, when perfecting this trick, bring your arms down agressively to make the trick look even better!

Step 1
Three ball cascade only for one arm, you catch the ball higher than usual, leaving your forearm perpendicular to the ground.

Step 2
Opposite side of step 1.

Step 3
Do step 1 only you do not throw the ball straight away, you carry the ball downwards until your arm is back at its original position, and then throw.

Step 4
Opposite side of step 3.

All Together
Work on having all throws like steps 3 and 4 to produce the full chops pattern.

Thanks for watching.

  • What? the difference between step 2 and 3 goes from not doing the trick to doing it properly, you might as well just write "step 2 learn how to do chops, step 3 you can now do chops!" having watched some of your other videos i can see your an accomplished juggler but teacher......oh no

  • @somnus987 try reading the description. if you read it, you should understand it, and if you had read it and still don't understand it, then you're not ready for this trick.

  • im having alot of trouble doing chops with my left hand

  • You just have to keep trying!

  • wtf is going on with the reply system it just appears at the top of the page?? anyway this is a good tutorial, helped me learn the trick with clubs.

  • Hey I know, youtube is a bit messed up at the moment with putting replies where replies ought to be.

Thanks for your nice comment and subscribing :)

  • ashomsky's tutorial of this trick is easier to follow, imo - more natural steps + great slow mo

  • Let me start by saying you are awesome. I need some advice; what is the easiest trick to learn, i want to impress my friend so if you reply that would be great thanks!

  • Great tutorial. been trying(and failing) to learn this for so long, really making progress now. thank you good, sir, thank you.

  • i dont understand i can do most of the tricks you consider harder than this(mills mess, box etc) but i can not do this

  • thats damn hard not beginner!!!!!!!:)

  • Difference between 1 and 3 is this:

1: do a regular cascade but catch the ball higher

3: consecutive under arms throws while catching the ball higher

  • EUREKA! I made it!! Here's the trick:

Think of it this way: when you catch a ball, instead of throwing it to the other side you bring it in your hand to the other side and then you throw it straight up!

Remember to start bringing it to the other side AS SOON as you caught it, then it's fine!

  • I know how to do many of your "advanced" tricks and am a pretty good juggler but haven't ever managed to get this down =P

  • @somnus987 Step 2 breaks it down into the smallest component, which is what all jugglers should do when learning new things.
