  • That is so cool. I was looking at a 4bt for space reasons. How did you wedge that in? What did you us for a tranny? What about a transfer case? Were the drive shafts a pain? I would love to know how you did it all. Great job!!!

  • I had to move the firewall back an 1.5 inches, and modify the passneger fender for the turbo so it would sit down all the way. The trans is ZF 5 speed and the transfer case is the stock dana 20. Rear drive shaft is a little short but just long enough not to viberate. Wasn't easy, but i am pleased with the end result. Thanks

  • dude that's awesome but why didn't you use a powerstroke and keep it all ford?

  • Installation of a ford is like trying to install a big block, which can be done but not very easy. I kind of like the cummins better. Stay tuned for more upgrades to come!

  • stock the engine would be fine, but if u put some horsepower in the cummins it could tear them up. just make sure they can handle like 1000lbs of torque

  • @ksbsn88 powerstroke isnt a Ford engine it is a International Navistar Ford dont build their own diesel engines neither does any american automotive constructor

  • Ksbsn88, the powerstroke is made by International, not Ford. Ford just licenses them for use in the Super Duty trucks. The Cummins is as much Ford as the International, perhaps more so, since Ford once owned stock in Cummins. (Not sure if they still do or not.)

  • Yeah, all-terrain off-road truck. 4" lift, 37" Swampers, Full-size Bronco. I suppose a non-intercooled 6bt would be a good compromise...little more power than the 4bt, little less power to tear up the drivetrain than an intercooled 6bt.

  • all depends on what your doing with it lift tires is it going to be a offroad truck?

  • Are you still running the Ford 9" and D44? If that's you crushing the cars in the other video, it sure looks like it. Don't you think you'll tear up the 1/2 ton axles? But I suppose if the Dana 20 is holding up...

I'm flipping back and forth between doing 4bt or 6bt, but I'm worried the 6bt will tear up my 5.13 geared, locked up D44 and 9".
