Classic TMNT vs New TMNT part 2-1

PLEASE WATCH THE PREVIOUS PARTS FIRST!

I got a little sick this week so I really had to rush this one, so I'm sorry if I talk a little too fast in certain scenes, I was trying to save time. The next part will be up this weekend

Being the major TMNT geek I am, I decided to make a little documentary. Yes, I got my idea from the Nostalgia critic and odds are he will sue me for everything I own, but I did this as a tribute to the turtles themselves.

This is no official countdown btw, this is mainly just my personal opinion, so if you don't agree, I'm sorry

I hate to ask this but if 2003 was based on the mirage comics and the mirage turtles had the same color masks (red) why did they give the 2003 series the same mask colors as the classic series?

@jo67445 I think it mainly had to do with people being able to tell them apart, plus it kind of became a staple/trademark tradition that would stay with ninja turtles for year to come. The 1st movie was based off the comics, yet they still used the masks from the cartoon. It's hard enough to tell the turtles apart sometimes, making different colored masks makes it easier XP

Will you do a review on the 2012 TMNT cartoon? So far, I'm really excited for it!

I never watched the 80's/90's version since I was way to young...but I can see that the classic Mickey wasn't as annoying. My favorite will always be Raphael and the 2003 version since that is what I grew up with. And personally even if I didn't I'd probably like the newer one because I generally like a darker feel to things but that's just me. Still yes Raphael is the badass! And always will be.

@DoctorDrinkX10 I think that if Eastman and Laird had thought about it, they would have colored their masks red. Remember, the original comics were in black and white. Even in the re-releases, they're still like that. At the time, it wouldn't have mattered whether official art had different-colored masks or not because you couldn't see them anyway. So mostly, you told them apart by the weapons they used.
