The EU's Europe for citizens programme seeks to bridge the perceived gap between the general public and the institutions of the European Union. From 2007 to 2013, it will fund activities which promote active European citizenship, build an inclusive European identity and promote common ownership of the European project. It puts citizens in the spotlight and responds to the need to improve citizen participation in the construction of Europe.

What I want for Europe right now:

1.Get rid of Strassburg, we only need one EU capital.

2.Turkey should not join the EU, sry, but we are still to far apart.

3. Install a foreign minister that have real power.

4. Get rid of the huge agriculture subsidy, they are way to costly

5. Dont make the EU parliament a huge  bureaucracy hole there nothing happens

Tell that to Merkel,and Sarkozy,and you will see that they will never accept that.

EU is a deceit, it will remain as a loose confederation/league,dominated by franco-german interests first of all.

Equality is not a real objective,just rhetoric,to make fools fall in the hands of the big capital.

EU can only become a federation if it is menaced by a external force,as a real union will become the only option,but when that happens it will be already too late.

Well a European common identity instead of National identities would not prevent wars.

There would just be less wars, but they would be on a world wide scale. EU-Nationalism would develop etc.
